Depending on your arrival time, explore Thimphu's attractions such as Tashichho Dzong, the main government center with the king's throne room. Overnight stay in a hotel in Thimphu.
Day 2: Exploring Thimphu
After breakfast, visit Kuenselphodrang to see the majestic Buddha Dordenma statue. Take a hike from Kuensel Phodrang Park to Changangkha Temple for panoramic views of Thimphu. Later, visit the Memorial Chorten and mingle with local pilgrims.
Drive north to Pangri Zampa to learn about astrology and receive an astrological reading. Explore the weekend market for prayer flags to be hoisted at Dochula Pass the following day. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu to Gangtey Valley

Day 9: Kila to Paro
Morning visit to Kila nuns temple and interact with the nuns. Return to Paro for an archery lesson at a private homestay. Enjoy a local dinner with a hot stone bath experience or dine at the hotel. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 10: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
